A wander through Faringdon town centre up to the Folly before venturing into open countryside towards Buckland and back. Plenty of pubs in Faringdon for drinkies after.

Saturday 12th July 12:00 AM ----- Countryside Crawl Joint Event with Oxon Weekend Walkers , 9.5 miles
Start place: Harcourt Arms, Stanton Harcourt, Oxon. OX29 5RJ. Please Note this is a linear walk, the following are the buses and times to and from the walk.Bus to Stanton Harcourt: Stagecoach No 18 bus leaving from Castle Street stand E1 at 11.05am. Bus from the Vine at Cumnor: Oxford Bus Company No 4B leaving at 1 minute past every hour e.g. 9.01pm SP415057
We will be ambling in woods,fields, hills and riverside meadows enjoying the scenery and several fine pubs on route. This is more of a social event than a walk; although the previous years crawls have been very hot and some people have had a beer in every pub, everyone has finished the walk quite sober but in fine spirits. At the end of the walk we will be having a meal in the Vine at Cumnor.
Bring packed lunch for midday. There is a meal at the end of the walk, please let John know if you would like to eat.

Start place: Meet at the Naunton Village Hall, where the first nine cars to arrive can easily be accomodated, otherwise, please be considerate when parking on the roadside. SP115234
Picturesque route through Gloucestershire countryside taking in a babbling brook, the Guiting Wood, the Cotswold Farm Park and Eyeford Park.
Bring packed lunch. There is also the option of a pub lunch at the aptly named Halfway House in Kineton because it is about half way round our route (pls let me know by the 20th, if you want pub lunch, in order for me to forewarn the landlord of numbers).
